I am very happy to take part in Valli's Blogging marathon 2nd week-18.My theme is stuffed items So chose to do a different stuffing for the parathas...
INGREDIENTS:
Wheat flour-1cup
Salt to taste
Water to knead
FOR STUFFING
Besan-2tbsp
Turmeric powder-1/4tsp
Redchilly powder-1/2tsp
Garam masala-1/2tsp
Cumin powder-1/2tsp
Amchur-1/2tsp
Oil-2tbsp
METHOD:
Fry the besan till the raw smell disppears.
Add all the ingredients and the oil mix it to a smooth paste.
Make a soft dough with the wheat flour.
Allow it to stand for 1/2an hour
Roll it in to small rotis...Stuff it and again spread it to a big roti..
Cook the roti on a tawa.... medium flame....
Different style of roti is ready to serve....Goes well wit Mango lassi.....

ReplyDeleteNirmala I make the same stuffing, but its with raw flour..I dont use any oil too...this will turn out softer though..surely worth trying.
