BROAD BEANS STIR FRY

I am very happy to take part in Blogging Marathon  #18Hosted by  Srivalli.This week's theme is dry sautes...I tried Broad beans...
INGREDIENTS:
Broad beans(finely cut)-1cup
Turmeric powder-1/2tsp
Dry coconut-2tsp
Greenchilly-1
Salt to taste
FOR TEMPERING:
oli-1tsp
Mustard-1/2tsp
Urad dhall-1/2tsp
METHOD:
Take the beans in a microsafe vessel and add little water cover it and cook in high for five minutes.
Add salt,turmeric powder cook for two minutes.
Take a kadai add the oil,mustard when it splutters,add the urad dhall, greenchilly ,cocconut,add it to the beans and microwave for two minutes.
Healthy curry is ready to be served with rasam rice or sambhar rice...

  3. We love broad beans and the beans we get here doesn't have too many beans inside the pod. I usually had valor livla (frozen fresh val) to broad beans stir fry.

  4. dont think i can find the best broad beans in this season...but when they are found, I make it similarly albeit with our home made masala
