BAKED ONION RINGS_

This is first attempting to bake onion rings as UK Rasoi is hosting From Fried to favourite
INGREDIENTS:
Onions cut in to rings-5
Besan-1/2cup
Rice flour-!/2 cup
Chilly powder-1tsp
Turmeric powder-1/2tsp
Salt to taste
Asafotida 1/4tsp
Oil-2tsp
Rawa-2tbsp


METHOD:
Mix the flour,salt,chilly powder,asafotida and make a thick paste.Dip the onion rings and coat it with rawa
Arrange it on a greased plate and bake it for 15minutes on a high heat....
Crispy onion rings are ready to have abite......

COTTAGE CHEESE POTATO BREAD WITH MINT CHUTNEY_MAGIC MINGLE#5

I am very happy to take part in this  Magic mingle-5 event because,I just wait for the announcement of two magic ingredients and try something new out of it......
INGREDIENTS:
For stuffing:
Cottage cheese scraped-1cup
Boiled potato smashed-1cup
Cumin seeds-1tsp
Garam masala-1tsp
Amchur-1/2tsp
Oil-1tsp
Salt to taste

For chutney
Mint-1cup cut and washed
Coriandercut and washed-1cup
Green chillies-2
Lemon juice-2tsp
Datessoaked in water for 10 minutes-4
Chat masala-1tsp
salt to taste
Bread-slices-2
Butter-1tbsp
METHOD:
First take a kadai,add the oil cumin seeds,when it splutters,add all the masala fry for a minute,then add the cottage cheese,fry for two minutes,finally add the potaoes,keep aside.
Grind all the ingredients together for chutney.
Toast the bread in butter nicely and spread the chutney first and the masala mixture.Cut it and serve it with sauce.
Wonderful dish for kids as well.....

PEANUT CHIKKI_BLOG HOP WEDNESDAY-17

Thanks to Radhika who is hosting this blog hop wednesday-17 for the past so many months and I always take part in it.This time I am paired with Vaishali shabhani,who has a wonderful space.Her bread Gulab jamun was so yummy             and Itried Peanut chikki as everyone likes it
INGREDIENTS:
Roasted and skin removed peanuts-2cups
Jaggery-1cup
Ghee-1tsp
Cardamompowder-1tsp

METHOD:
Take a kadai,add the jaggery,on a slow fire make a thick syrrup.
Testing can be done by adding one drop of this to a cup of water,when it does not stick and makes sound when you drop in the cup,it is done.
Switch off the gas ,add the ghee,peanuts and the cardmom powder.
Transfer it on a greased plate and level it.
Once it is slightly cooled,draw the squares.
Crispy peanut chikki is ready!!!!!
