Thanks to Radhika for hosting this BLOG HOP WEDNESDAYS-16 and I really enjoy taking part in it continuously......This time I am paired with Nayna who has a blog named Simply Food All her recipes are good and i have tried many before we were paired.Today I tried Spinach Dhokla and it turned out very well.Something different from the usual Dhokla.
INGREDIENTS:
Besan-1cup
Rawa-1cup
Spinach(cut and boiled )-11/2cup
Tamrind paste-2tsp
Chilly powder-1tsp
Salt to taste
Sugar-1tsp
Eno salt-11/2tsp
Ajwain seeds -1tsp
Turmeric powder1/2tsp
Water-1cup
For tarka:
Mustard seeds-1tsp
Sesame seeds -2tsp
Red chilly -1
Oil-2tsp
Mix all the ingredients well and finally add the eno salt
Let the batter be like idly batter.
Now steam it by pouring it on a vessel slightly lined with oil
Steam for 15 minutes.and cool it.
Cut it in to desired shape and pour the tarka on it.
Fluffy and tasty Dhoklas are ready to serve.....
